How to check the evidence and data behind a Labs report
Evidence & data lists each source in plain words — name, date and coverage — with a traffic light for freshness. Licence details and Bebaak's checks are in 'About the data'.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Open PlacePulse, StyleScope or BrandOrbit → Evidence & data.
- Read Data status: each source with its date and coverage; amber or red means old or partial data.
- StyleScope: see what is taken from India's trade files (textiles and clothing, HS chapters 50–63); Google Trends is optional — upload a Trends CSV export if you have one.
- PlacePulse: PIN codes and addresses come from the official PIN directory; you can upload your own store or competitor list.
- BrandOrbit: check how fresh each channel is; you can upload a Search Console or publisher export.
