How to find a file in Files

Choose a view at the top of Files: My files for your folders and shared files, On records for files attached to customers, vendors, items and transactions, and Governed (ScanFlow) for controlled documents.

Who can do this: Everyone in your organisation who has access to this app.

Steps

Step by step

  1. Open Office → Files.
  2. Pick a view at the top: My files, On records or Governed (ScanFlow). You only see the views your access allows.
  3. In My files, open a folder or a team space; use Starred, Recent and Shared with me to find things quickly.
  4. In On records, open a record's file to see which customer, vendor, item or transaction it belongs to.
  5. In Governed (ScanFlow), open a document for its review status, retention and access log.

Tips

  • Bookmarks to the old Pod and Documents pages still work — they open the matching view.
  • Storage is shared across all three views.
