How to find slow and dead stock
Stock ageing, ABC/XYZ classes, slow and dead stock and what it costs to carry.
Who can do this: Everyone in your organisation who has access to this app.
Steps
Step by step
- Cash → Inventory.
- Ageing buckets show stock value by days since last movement.
- ABC ranks items by value (A = top ~80% of value); XYZ by how steady demand is (X steady, Z erratic).
- Dead stock lists items with no movement in the period you choose, with carrying cost.
- Act: stop reordering dead items, discount or return slow ones.
