How to match remittances and prepare eBRC and bank files

Split one remittance across several export invoices (oldest first), download the eBRC bulk file for DGFT, and import shipping bills, bills of entry and the bank's EDPMS / IDPMS statement from Excel or CSV.

Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.

Steps

Step by step

  1. Open EXIMFlow → Bank & eBRC.
  2. To allocate a remittance: choose it, and EXIMFlow splits it across the buyer's open invoices oldest first; adjust if needed and save. Each part becomes a receipt on its shipment.
  3. To prepare eBRC: select the realised shipments and download the bulk file; upload it yourself on the DGFT portal.
  4. To import shipping bills, bills of entry or the EDPMS / IDPMS statement: download the template, fill it from your ICEGATE or bank export, and upload it.

Tips

  • There is no live link to ICEGATE, DGFT or your bank yet — these connect later. Files go in and out as Excel / CSV.
  • Check the eBRC file's columns against DGFT's current upload template before uploading.
  • Any amount not allocated to an invoice is reported, not held as an advance.
