How to check and map an upload
Review what Bebaak read from your files, map ledgers it didn't recognise, and run the report.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Open the upload from Data Bridge.
- Checks: every check should be green — balanced trial balance, totals, dates.
- Figures read: confirm sales, profit, receivables and other key figures look right.
- Unmapped ledgers: choose the right category for each; click Save mapping & re-check. The mapping is remembered for next time.
- Optional: Add optional file(s), or Re-read as another type if a file was misread.
- Click Run a report and choose Score, Cash or Capital.
