How MSME 45-day flags work
Payments to micro and small enterprises must be made within the MSMED Act limit (up to 45 days with an agreement) for the expense to be deductible in that year under Section 43B(h). Bebaak flags these bills.

Steps
Step by step
- Make sure the vendor's MSME status is recorded.
- Bills from MSME vendors show the date by which payment is due under the 45-day rule.
- Purchases → Bills → Overdue, or Cash → Payables, lists MSME bills close to or past the limit.
- Pay them first, or talk to your CA before year-end.
