How to create a bill of materials
Define components, quantities, operations and scrap so Bebaak can plan and cost production.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Make → Bills of materials → New.
- Choose the finished item and quantity produced.
- Add components with quantities; a component can have its own BOM (multi-level).
- Add operations (cutting, welding…) with time and workstation if you track them.
- Enter expected scrap.
- Save. The standard cost is calculated from component costs and operations.
