How to set fiscal year, currency and formats
Fiscal year start, currencies, time zone, and date and number formats.
Who can do this: Organisation admins (Client Admin).
Steps
Step by step
- Open Settings and choose the section (or search settings by name).
- Settings → Fiscal year, currency & formats.
- Set the fiscal year start (April for most Indian businesses), base currency and any foreign currencies you invoice in.
- Choose the time zone and date and number formats (e.g. 1,00,000).
- Click Save. Sensitive values — GSTINs, number series, security — still go through approvals if your organisation has approval rules for settings.
