How to change an item
Update prices, GST rate, HSN/SAC or stock settings for one item.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Open the item from Items.
- Change the fields you need and save.
- New documents use the new values; documents already submitted keep the old ones.
- To stop using an item, mark it Disabled — it disappears from pickers but stays in history.
