How to change or reset your password

Change your password when signed in, or reset it if you've forgotten it.

Who can do this: Every user.

Steps

Step by step

Signed in: open your name menu (top right) → Change / reset password.
Enter a new password (use at least 10 characters, mixing letters and numbers) and save.
Signed out: on the sign-in page click "Forgot password", enter your email and open the reset link we send.
Sign in again with the new password.

If the reset email doesn't arrive within 5 minutes, check spam, then WhatsApp support.
