How to receive goods back and close a challan
One challan: items sent, partial receipts, loss vs expected and the job-worker bill.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Open the challan; download the Challan PDF to send with the goods.
- Receive back: enter Their challan no., Good and Rejected quantities → Record receipt. Partial receipts are fine.
- Goods: sent vs received vs expected loss shows what's still With job worker.
- Enter the bill: Bill received qty against the job rate.
- Close & log loss: actual process loss is compared with expected and logged.
