How to enter meter readings
A meter-reading grid that works on a phone: previous and current readings, meter changes, estimated readings and pooled costs.
Who can do this: Managing committee users (society admins). Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Society → Meter readings → choose the Month and the metered Head.
- Enter this month's Current reading for each flat; Previous comes from last month and Used is calculated. Blank rows are skipped.
- Record a meter change or an estimated reading where needed.
- Pooled costs: enter society bills shared among flats (e.g. the common-area electricity bill with its BSES bill no.); they are shared on the head's basis.
- Save readings, then preview the bill run. Tariffs can use telescopic slabs set in Settings.
