How to set charge heads and run bills
Charge heads with their own logic, per-flat overrides, bill preview and bill runs.
Who can do this: Managing committee users (society admins). Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Society → Billing → Charge heads. Each head has a Logic: fixed, per sq ft, by unit type (e.g. 2 BHK: 1500), metered slabs, pooled share, % of another head, parking, sinking/repair fund, non-occupancy, or festival/one-off.
- Per-flat changes go on the flat page under Charge overrides for this flat.
- 1 · Preview the next run: choose the Period and an optional One-off head (e.g. Diwali celebration), then Preview bills to see the amount per flat with GST.
- Create the run. Depending on settings it may need committee Approval before posting.
- Bills appear under All bills; every bill is a Sales Invoice in the society's books.

Questions
How is GST decided?
In Settings you set the GST rate and the exemption limit per member per month (₹7,500 by default). GST applies only when the society is registered and the member's contribution exceeds the limit; the bill shows the GST working. Confirm with your CA.
