How to set up your society
The onboarding entry for housing societies: society type, State Act, towers and ledgers.
Who can do this: Organisation admins (Client Admin).
Steps
Step by step
- In first-time set-up choose Entity type: Co-operative Housing Society (or Society for an RWA) and Business type: Housing society — or open Society → Set up society.
- Enter the Society profile: Society name, Registration no. and date, Governing law (your State Act), Address, PAN (optional) and GSTIN (if registered).
- Enter the UPI ID shown on bills and the Construction cost per sq ft (used for the sinking fund).
- Add towers and flats (see Flats), then configure charge heads in Billing and rules in Settings.
- Registers and labels follow your State Act (e.g. I- and J-registers in Maharashtra).
