Bank statements & reconciliation
New in v0.20: import bank statements and reconcile them with suggestions and rules. Bebaak works from statements you import or email in; it does not have live bank feeds, and connected banking / Account Aggregator is not active.

How to set up a bank account for statements
New in v0.20: link each bank account to its ledger, choose the statement layout, and set how statements arrive: upload, the account's own statement email address, or your own mailbox (IMAP).
How to import a CSV, Excel or PDF bank statement
New in v0.20: import a CSV, Excel or text-PDF statement from your bank — preview it, then import. Lines already imported are skipped, so overlapping statements are fine.
How to reconcile with suggestions
New in v0.20: work through every unmatched statement line with Bebaak's suggestions and confidence — existing receipts and payments, open invoices and bills, or your rules. Postings above your threshold go to Approvals.
How to set bank rules
New in v0.20: rules categorise recurring lines — bank charges, rent, card settlements — by narration, party, amount and direction; post to an account or split by percentage, with optional auto-accept.
