How to import a CSV, Excel or PDF bank statement
New in v0.20: import a CSV, Excel or text-PDF statement from your bank — preview it, then import. Lines already imported are skipped, so overlapping statements are fine.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Banking → Import a statement.
- Choose the Bank account and Layout (Auto, or Generic to map the columns once).
- Choose the Statement file and click Preview.
- Click Import. Repeated lines are skipped.
- Use a text PDF from net banking — a scanned image cannot be read.
