How to cost a style and make BOMs

Fabric consumption, trims, CMT, overheads, margin, FOB and sign-off — then actuals vs plan.

Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.

Steps

Step by step

  1. Open the costing from the style.
  2. Fabric consumption by size: enter Net m / pc from the marker and Marker efficiency %; Gross m / pc is calculated using the size ratio. (Marker figures are entered — Loom does not connect to marker/CAD software.)
  3. Trims come from the style; add printing and other costs. Cost build-up shows CMT, overheads, margin and FOB.
  4. Recalculate, then Send for sign-off.
  5. Once approved, Make BOMs creates BOMs in Make. The order page later shows costing vs actual per piece.
