15 step-by-step guides
How to use the Customers list
Customers you sell to, with GSTIN, addresses and balances.
How to add a customer
Create a customer with the GST details that decide how tax is charged.
How to manage quotes
Quotations sent to customers and their status: Draft, Open, Ordered, Expired, Lost or Cancelled.
How to manage sales orders
Confirmed customer orders waiting to be delivered or invoiced.
How to use delivery challans
Delivery challans (delivery notes) record goods sent to customers. Stock reduces when you submit.
How to manage invoices
Tax invoices raised to customers — Draft, Unpaid, Overdue, Partly Paid, Paid or Cancelled.
How to see payments received
Money received from customers and the invoices it settled.
How to issue a credit note
Credit notes reduce an invoice for returns or price corrections and reverse the GST.
How to create a quote, order, challan or invoice
One form creates every sales document: choose the customer, add items, check GST, then save as draft or submit.
How to work with a sales document
Open any sales document to print, email, record payment, convert or cancel it.
How to edit a draft sales document
Only drafts can be edited. Submitted documents are changed by cancelling and amending.
How to record a payment from a customer
Record money received against one or more invoices so the invoice shows Paid or Partly Paid.
How to turn a quote into an order or invoice
Save retyping: a quote converts straight into a sales order or invoice with the same lines.
How to correct a submitted invoice
Submitted documents can't be edited directly. Cancel the document, then Amend to create a corrected copy.
How to email an invoice with your logo
Send the invoice PDF to the customer from Bebaak.
