How to set up an ad-hoc project
Projects such as solar, lifts, painting or addition/alteration — each with its own contribution basis, instalments, bank ledger, receipt series and collection %.
Who can do this: Managing committee users (society admins). Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Society → Projects → New project: Type, name, Budget ₹, and Approved by general body on (date).
- Contribution basis: by area, equal, or Amount by unit type; set the instalments with Due dates.
- Short code (receipt series): receipts for this project get their own numbering and ledger.
- Signatories needed per payment: e.g. 2 — every milestone payment then needs 2 of the committee's payment signatories to approve.
- Create project. Progress shows collected vs budget.
