How to set up a brand scheme
Volume slabs, free goods or gifts, a flat discount or buy-X-get-Y — applied on sales documents and tracked per customer.
Who can do this: Admins and Accountants. Viewers can open it but not change anything.
Steps
Step by step
- Inventory & Distribution → Schemes → New scheme.
- Choose the kind (volume slab, free goods, flat discount, buy-X-get-Y), the brand, items and dates.
- Enter the slabs or the free item and quantity.
- Save and activate. New sales documents for those items pick up the scheme automatically.
- To stop schemes applying automatically, an admin turns off Auto apply in Settings → Inventory & Distribution.
Tips
- Free goods are valued at the warehouse valuation rate, or failing that the item's valuation or buying price.
